Christmas in July

July is the time that I start making my Christmas Cards. Yes it's true. I start making my cards in July because I have a little over 50 cards to make every Season. So instead of waiting till the last minute I start creating my cards in July. I found two challenges to play along with for my very first Christmas card of the year.

ABC Christmas Challenge - N is for Nonsense, make a plain no frills card, no design paper.

The Paper Variety Christmas in July Challenge.

I'm so pleased with how this little card turned out. I hope you like it too.

Recipe:
SU old olive and whisper white cardstock
SU old olive and basic black ink
SU top notch sizzix die

The snowman stamp is a very old one that came in box with other foam stamps like this one, I bought it from Michaels about 15 years ago.

The heart and tree stamp on the top and bottom of the snowman stamp is from Studio g.

The sentiment stamp on the inside of the card is from SU Many Merry Messages rubber stamp set "Wishing you a never-ending season of love and peace".

Cuttlebug folder - Argyle
Staedtler Karat Colored pencils used to color the snowman stamp and small hearts.
Red lace Ribbon from Making Memories - Trims Passport package

YOur card turned out really cute! I like that stamp! And YES Explorer 9 does not work well at all with Vista! And yes Vista is the worst one ever! I know from experience! I had bought a brand new computer 2 years ago and it had vista on it... it worked for like 2 months then I kept getting a black screen over and over I would call tech. and they kept trying to get me to upgrade to 7 when my computer was only a few months old... at that point I new vista SUCKED! LOL I gave it to my son and he loves it and I bought myself another new computer last year and it's windows 7 and works like a dream! I also know that vista and explorer 9 don't mix because my mom has a vista and installed 9 in her computer and it just would not work correctly.... so I put windows 8 back in and it worked like a charm! Sorry for the LOOONNNG comment but I just wanted you to know that you may want to put 8 back in your system or upgrade to windows 7.... :o)

This card is so pretty! I love the snowman stamp! Wow, you are so organized to start making your Christmas cards now...I always have good intentions then end up making them at the last minute! And add me to the list of Vista haters. It came on my laptop and I even upgraded to Vista Ultimate. What a complete waste of money. I also had lots of problems with Explorer so I switched to Firefox and I like it so much better.

What a fabulous card. I just love the image you used. It is such a great idea to start now. I always tell myself that I am going to do that and never do, lol

If blogger won't let you leave comments, you may want to check when you sign in to see if you have the "stay logged in" checked. If so, try unchecking it, that is what worked for me.

I agree with vista, I hated it too.

Your card is beautiful. I just love it. I have been having problems with blogger myself and not being able to leave comments and I have windows 7 so I am not really sure what it is, I can comment sometimes and other time its a no go. Maybe its a server problem on my end. I hope you get everything worked out. Thank you for your kind comments on my blog.
