Trick or Treat

Happy Friday and Labor Day weekend my crafty friends. Our CEO declared this a free Friday for us so I get to enjoy my day in my craft room for a little while.

I haven't posted a project since CKC so I decided to play along with the Throwback Thursday Challenge.

This week's challenge we have to use the colors purple, orange, green and black. And we cannot use our cricut or gypsy.

I struggled with this challenge so this card is not my favorite. I think I was slightly crafted out yesterday evening from the stressful work week.

I used my paper scraps for the entire card. My stamped image is from Inkadinkado Trick or Treat clear stamp set. The Trick or Treat and Happy Halloween stamps came from Michaels dollar bin. The spider web stamp came from Stampabilities.

SU basic black ink was used for the edges of the tag and stamped image.

I used a circle punch to cut the ticket edges on my tag and layered each color of my card stock and glued them together. I put foam tape under the tag to pop it up a bit. And outlined my tag with my stardust gelly roll pen. I finished the tag off with a bat brad that I bought from CKC.

My white gel pen worked great for the skeleton costume and the Trick or Treat tag. I colored the pumpkin costume with colored pencils. My black glaze pen gave the witch costume, spider and webs their shiny look. Of course I had to add some stickles on the bats. I placed two orange brads from my stash on opposite corners of my rectangle.

For the inside of the card I put google eyes on the spider, which happened to be a cover up for the hole that was in the scrap of card stock. I thought it looked better than putting a brad there.

Thanks for stopping by.
