Happy New Year my crafty friends. Wow can you believe we are in a brand new year? Are you ready for a fresh start? I know I am, it's that time again when I start back on the routine of exercising and challenging myself to try something new. Well my something new was to try out for this design team and look at me now! I'm having so much fun and challenging myself in new ways in my craft room. Enough babble, on to my project.
So to celebrate our new year, I made a New Year's Day card. I cut the hat and wine bottle at 2 1/2" using DCWV Metalic Silver CS and Recollections CS in burgandy and black. Then I put the layers together.
For my card base I used Bazzill Basic Earthtone CS and cut it down to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card. Then to give it a background I used my Kelly Panacci Time Flies stamp set to stamp the clock on the card.
For the tag under the hat I used Lacey Labels cart and cut the label at 3". I created the flag tag by just cutting the end into a point. The stamp "January" and round stamp "Happy New Year" are from Studio g. I used a 1 1/4" EK Success circle punch to punch around the circle stamp. I used SU basic black ink around all my tag edges. That's it, hope you like my project today.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!!!!
